In a bid to raise vital funds for the British Heart Foundation (BHF), individuals from AFL Hyperscale are stepping up and taking on the challenge of walking 10,000 steps per day for the entire month of May. With the BHF’s efforts helping to halve the number of deaths caused by heart and circulatory diseases in the UK, this fundraising initiative aims to further support their life-saving mission.
Heart and circulatory diseases remain a leading cause of death, with hundreds of lives lost each day. The British Heart Foundation has been at the forefront of research, prevention, and treatment of these conditions, making a significant impact in reducing mortality rates.
Taking inspiration from the BHF’s accomplishments, individuals are now lacing up their shoes and committing to walking 10,000 steps every day throughout the month of May. This challenge not only encourages physical activity but also serves as an opportunity to raise funds for the BHF’s ongoing work. An incredible £801 was raised by our walkers.
