AFL Hyperscale was delighted to welcome Team Henry to their Milton Keynes office to present them with a grant for £2,331.36 to fund The Trust car for 12 months.
The “Henry Mobile”, as they call it, allows Team Henry to transport families to and from hospital appointments, deliver care packs, arts and crafts packs, toys, games and other donations to Hospitals, and continue to spread ‘Henry’s Happiness’.
The Henry Allen Trust was founded in memory of Henry Allen who lost his battle to STAGE 4 HIGH RISK MYCN AMPLIFIED NEUROBLASTOMA, a childhood cancer in October 2013 to bring ‘happiness’ to children and families battling childhood cancer.
The Henry Allen Trust is there for these families from initial contact, all the way through the rest of their journey, be it treatment, remission or palliative/end of life care and beyond. The Trust does this by providing treats and wishes, financial assistance and emotional support to the families as well as holding a monthly THAT Support group, where families come together to enjoy quality time with each other and share their experiences.
Every year, The Henry Allen Trust holds various events to raise vital funds to allow the trust to continue its work supporting children, teens, young adults, and their families battling childhood cancer.
Vicky Balaktsoglou, Content Manager at AFL Hyperscale commented “It is such a pleasure to be able to award this grant to the Henry Allen Trust. They do amazing work raising awareness of childhood cancers in our local community and beyond, and the Trust Car helps them achieve this – we’re proud to be able to contribute to this fantastic cause.”
