In a remarkable display of bravery and compassion, Nicola based at our Haverhill site, took part in the MacMillan Cancer Support’s Brave the Shave event on Friday 29th September. The event saw Nicola, courageously shave her long hair to raise funds for the esteemed charity.
Brave the Shave is an inspiring campaign by MacMillan that encourages participants to shave their heads as a powerful symbol of support for cancer patients who experience hair loss during treatment.
Nicola’s bold move was well-received, with generous donations pouring in from friends, family, and colleagues. In a painful twist, several male employees also participated by waxing their legs!
An impressive total of £2,000 was raised for the cause.
Meanwhile, at our Milton Keynes office, employees opted for a more traditional fundraising approach with a delightful 80’s themed World’s Biggest Coffee Morning. The day was filled with nostalgia as staff members donned their best 80’s attire, participated in fun quizzes, and baked delicious treats.
